Thanks, Helen. Given that a manual reinstall of the plugin doesn’t help, I will definitely reinstall 4.2 until the issue is resolved.

Good point, but I was forced to upgrade. In 4.2, the Lightroom plug-in would crash in mid-edit about a third of the time. When I deleted and reinstalled the app, there was no 4.2 anymore. Only 4.3.

I don't know about 4.2, but I've gone back to earlier versions -- and all the way back to the old CD apps -- when I'm not doing all my processing in Lightroom, that is.
