My edits are gone

So, I've updated to the new luminar neo version.

I can see my edited pictures in my catalog view, but once I open a picture in edit mode, all my edits from before the update are gone. I've tried to restore the backup that was made before the update, but the issue persists. Does anybody know of a way to get the edits back from the catalog view? Or why the catalog still shows the edits, even if they are really gone?

  Hi there,

  Luminar Neo saves the history of every edit you perform on an image in the Edits tab. This allows unlimited undos and lets you step through your previous edits.

   By clicking on the steps in the Edits tab you undo edits step by step.
