Import Looks from Luminar 4 into Neo
AnsweredHi,
What is the current status of the plans to convert "Looks" from Luminar 4 (and earlier) for use in Neo? I was as user of Tonality back in the Macphun days, and I really liked that product. You provided Luminar Looks which mimicked Tonality pretty well, and I'd like to be able to use them in Neo.
Thanks.

Hi David,
Skylum will release its last extension on 12/24. What that will be, we don't know. But the desire for Tonality has been written many times in this forum. And Skylum didn't reinvent everything with the previous extensions either and brought back old features. So, maybe the Christmas surprise will be the resurgence of Tonality....
However, for B/W processing I rather recommend Silver Efex Pro from the Nik Collection. And if you want an exact recreation of old analog films, DXO Filmpack is the way to go.
Whether Skylum still converts the old looks from Luminar 4, I don't really believe.

Hi David McLaughlin,
Right now, we do not plan to convert Luminar 4 looks to Luminar Neo. They are different apps and the filters are different, that's why it would be difficult. However, you might try migrating them to Luminar AI and then to Luminar Neo via the Migration tool as a workaround.
