Plug-in stopped working in Photoshop Elements 2023
AnsweredThe Luminar Neo plug-in has suddenly stopped working. All was doing fine until 11/28/2022, no problems, I was perfectly happy with performance of Neo.
Steps that I have taken to resolve the problem:
1. Removed plug-in from PSE 2023 and restarted PC, then copied back to PSE 2023 (dedicated location for plug-ins). Repeated process and copied the plug-in to the default location provided by PSE 2023.
2. Searched this site for all references to plug-in/s, Photoshop Elements, plug-ins not working. I then tried the recommended solutions that seemed relevant. None of those searches worked.
3. Updated to version 1.5.1 hoping that would correct the problem. NOT!
4. Uninstalled Neo and reinstalled and I still do not have the plug-in working in PSE.
As I said I have been very satisfied with Luminar Neo both as a plug-in and standalone. My preferred workflow is as a plug-in, so I have been somewhat hampered since this has occurred.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,
Please note that Luminar Neo isn't officially integrated with Photoshop Elements. Thus, it's not tested for compatibility with this host app
You can try to follow the instructions below with the latest .8bf plugin file https://www.dropbox.com/s/wf9t5broac0j9yg/LuminarNeo.8bf?dl=0
- Navigate to the Photoshop Elements Plugins folder. The default path is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\Elements version number
- Copy the .8bf file into the folder you've opened in Step 4.
However, if this doesn't help, I'm afraid there isn't much we can do, seeing as PSE isn't supported.
