Program almost unusable
AnsweredI have a Gaming laptop with a i7, 16gb of ram, and I have the Nvidia Geforce GPU. Works fine with Lightroom and Photoshop.
I just got Neo on the holiday special and other then small quick adjustments like basic skin stuff, the program is horribly slow. I tired to use it after equalizing some colors in LR I did quite a few layers in Neo now it's so slow that I can't even clone stamp, and I tried the sky replacement for the first time on a shot and it wont even let me get back into the adjustment sky layer to make any adjustment.
I read that it the program isn't optimized like Adobe for the GPU, is this true? Is their a way to improve the performance?

Hi,
Currently, Luminar relies mostly on CPU and RAM. We use GPU for some features, but not as extensively as we'd love to. In future iterations of Luminar, we hope to extend the use of high-level APIs for hardware acceleration, including the GPU one.
Could you please let us know the following:
- How many images are there in your Catalog?
- Where are they located (on an internal or external drive)?
- What's the format and size of files you're working with?
- What’s your major concern in terms of performance? (e.g. RAW file rendering speed, export speed, etc.)
- How much time does it take to export an image? / How much time does it take to apply an adjustment to an image?
