why so slow

Due to an SSD card failure, I have had to edit many of my longer-range shots into close-ups. To give some variety. So this morning I started to save the changes and export 215 pictures to a folder on my desktop.  OMG It has taken 1h 2 minutes to upload to a folder 88 photographs, I am not using an old slow laptop, Its a 3-month-old Apple Mac M1 MaX

Particularly, please send us a screenshot of your catalog structure, let us know the type and size of your photos, their location (and export directory), as well as what adjustments you used for them (did you apply the sync adjustments option, by any chance?).

  Hi John,

  unfortunately what no one from the Skylum team will tell you openly and honestly is the fact that Luminar is infinitely slow in exporting. This is probably a feature of Skylum...
  Every competing product I know exports many times faster. Partially 20-30 times faster!

  Thanks for the feed back. This is a major problem for me. I do theatre photography and weddings. This forces me to look at other alternatives like, light room/Photoshop or Capture one.
