My AI didn't work on Mac OS Ventura and my NEO run really slow

Hi,

I have both AI and NEO on my mac pro 2.6 GB I7 Graphic 4GB Ram 16GB - Ventura version.

I can run all applications from adobe smoothly. But when I open Luminar AI, it just crashes right away. And about Luminar NEO, I open it and try to edit a photo, but it takes forever to use any feature. I can still switch between each feature. The problem is it didn't display the result, I had to apply it back and forth a couple of times to see it. But mostly, it won't apply anything.

Then I tried NEO as the photoshop plugin, it's better than running NEO independently but still stuck when trying to apply any edit from NEO on it. Also, when I try to change the skin, and then go to another feature, modify and go back to the skin feature, all the ranges go back to start, even the effect still on the photo.

I'm sorry to hear that you've encountered such issues with both apps.

Let's start with Luminar AI. Could you please tell us if you tried restoring it from backup?

Hold down the Option key on your keyboard and start Luminar. Keep holding Option until you see a window with a list of available backups appear.
Select a backup that was created before you encountered the issue with the library and click Restore from Backup.
