Deleting folders in NEO
AnsweredMy Luminar NEO has dozens of folders under USERS. Some links go to files, others to my email, contacts, music, WORD documents, EXCEL spreadsheets, videos, video games, searches, plus 14,000 photos that were somehow downloaded from my Amazon Photos cloud backup. These are of no use to me in NEO and I want the links gone, but when I start to delete a link, it tells me "Are you sure you want to delete the folder at C:\...?" Are all of my emails, documents, music, contacts, etc. going to go away? How can I remove links from my catalog? There are 26 folders whose contents are not my current photographs and have nothing to do with NEO.

Hi Ron -
If you choose the 'Delete forever' option, your files will be deleted and placed in the system Trash folder.
If you'd like to remove a folder from the catalog only (leaving it intact on your drive), you need to right-click the folder > Remove from Catalog. Please note that this option isn't available for subfolders, just for the root (parent) folders:
Alternatively, you can click File > Catalog > New, create a new empty catalog and add only those folders that you need.
