Saving/Exporting HDR results
AnsweredI'm creating a number of images through HDR in Luminar Neo. I had been in the practice of exporting them to the desired folder. I was surprised to see that .tif files had already been saved in the Pictures\HDR folder automatically. I gather that when the hdr file is merged it creates a 16b .tif file automatically - is that correct? Is there any difference to this merged file, and the exported .tif, if no edits have been applied? Thankyou for your help.

Hi Will - That is correct, after you run your photos through the HDR Merge extension, a new TIFF file appears.
If you've already achieved the desired look in this TIFF, there's no need to re-export it from Luminar. If you also apply some edits to the photo, in that case, you'll need to export the final result. Since .TIFF is a lossless format, there should be no differences in the metadata.
