Luminar Neo not opening photo

When I click Open single photo. I am transferred to the file on my HD to choose a photo. When I click the photo I want, nothing appears. I have it set to open only jpegs and the photos are jpegs. It will just not do anything.

  Hi!

  Could you please clarify if you are able to import the photos from your internal drive?

  Were you able to import those JPEGs to Luminar Neo before?

  Do you have any antivirus installed? If that's so, try disabling your antivirus software/adding the app to the list of its exceptions. 

  Also, please ensure that the app is allowed through the Ransomware protection on Windows:
