Hello,

Some of my latest edits disappears ( the photos that I selected and edited disappear), I checked the Backups folder and there is some files with ".lumbackup". Can I restore my edit from that files or not because it seems that I can't do anything with it ?

  Hi Deborah Delattre!

  Please try the following steps:

  • Hold down the Option key on your keyboard and start Luminar. Keep holding Option until you see a window with a list of available backups appear.
  • Select a backup that was created before you encountered the issue with the library and click Restore from Backup.

  Thanks for your answer.
  I can charge the backup files but it seems that all of my last edit disappear. 
  It's really strange because when I open the lumbackup and plist with atom, I see some of the files noted (I think in plist it's when I exported it), but when I charged it, it's not edited, not selected.

  Hi Deborah,

  When restoring from backup, you basically launch your catalog in one of its previously saved states. Therefore, some of the latest edits that you have applied may be missing in the backup version that you open.
