Too many pinned threads before reaching new posts

I'm just getting started with a trial of Neo and since running into a problem I've found this forum (zendesk community?) and will be looking for help.

I have some experience running an online community and wanted to provide feedback to the mods or admins of this site.  Namely: there are too many pinned/featured threads on several (most?) of the groups/boards.

Users have to scroll down quite far on some groups to find the latest posts.  Looking at some of the pinned/featured posts they are from years ago and do not seem relevant to current/new users.  I'd suggest not overusing the feature to pin posts and then review and unpin posts regularly so newer posts appear higher up.

New users will then to able to see recent activity and the default sort of "Sort by newest post" makes a bit more sense.

Just a thought :o)
