Catalog display has blank images and whole rows blank?
AnsweredI have over 12,000 images in my catalog. Luminar 4 displays them OK! But Neo doesn't display all my images? There are big gaps, whole rows of Blank images? How can I correct this?

Hello!
As you mentioned that you have about 10000 photos to move, I'd like to warn you that we don't recommend storing more than 10000 photos in one Catalog. As a rule of thumb, the smaller your Catalog is, the better performance will be.
Since you have quite a big Catalog, Luminar may need more time to process the thumbnails.
Aren't the thumbnails for the photos displayed if you wait a couple of minutes?
Does Luminar Neo not display the thumbnails only for some images or for all?
Where are the photos you're working with located (on an internal or external drive)?
What's the format/size of files you're working with?

Hi, the thumbnails do not display after waiting (Luminar 4 displays all images fine with smaller thumbnails), but the display for Neo has bigger thumbnails (for the smallest size), and has big gaps/ rows that do not show the images? The photos are on a fast external drive and are a mix of Raw and Jpeg files. Rob

Hi Robert Davidson,
How exactly do you connect your external drive to the computer?
Just to make sure we are on the same page: the photos don't display regardless the size of previews you select here https://prnt.sc/kL_0cX_JGwzP ?

The external drive is connected via USB3. And yes they don't display regardless of the size selected
I have increased the memory allocated to the cache and backup in preferences and that has improved the catalog display. It now seems that photos enhanced in Photoshop (pixel resolution doubled), are the ones more likely to not display. Although some do show?
