HDR Merge is apparently being turned into a paid addon for Luminar Neo.
So this means that, as an Aurora user, I could get it for free...by purchasing Luminar Neo at a loyalty discount - whether I needed the rest of the Luminar Neo features or not.
Except all I (we?) wanted was an updated Aurora with support for newer cameras, bug fixes for outstanding issues (see: batch processing), while retaining backwards compatibility with legacy Aurora stock and custom presets.
So much for "We are not abandoning Aurora, stay tuned."
Honestly, I'm not even upset, the writing was on the wall all the time; just...kind of disappointed. At this point I'll keep on using Aurora 2019/HDR while it still works with my rig, and then take my money elsewhere.
It's been a nice ride all along. take care y'all! :) Much love and support to the folks in Ukraine.
Merged in Aurora HDR, starting from the aptly named "Start here" preset by Serge Ramelli - I think it originally was part of Aurora 2018 but it ported quite nicely to Aurora HDR.
Marco, signing off.
