I've already made a similar post back in march: https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4591906337426-Luminar-Neo-Crashes-when-Network-Volume-with-photos-is-mounted
Now I have been using 2 newer updates of Luminar and the crashes are gone.
However, it still doesn't seem to be able to handle Network volumes correctly.
I installed Luminar on a fresh system (Mac Studio Ultra with Monterey 12.4) which has a samba share mounted via ethernet.
First it indexes all my photos but leaves the folders empty. I can however see all my photos in the upper sidebar where it sorts everything by date. I've already sent a support request on that issue.
The other problem is that when I close and re-open Luminar, just like in the previous release, it just searches and does nothing. All I see is the searchbar moving and Luminar is doing nothing until it times out and I have to force-quit the app.
However, if I UNMOUNT my samba share and relaunch Luminar, it appears to re-mount the network volume for me. It did exactly the same before, so the 1.1.1 release really brings no fix for me on this issue.
Luminar mounting a volume for me is trully an odd behavior and I really do not want it do this since I run a lot of other stuff on that share and I don't want to deal with unmounting it just for the sake of using Luminar properly. It should just find the already mounted path and get on with starting up.
I am not going to install any App Cleaner as this is a completely fresh install and there is no residue of older Luminar installs on this computer.
PLEASE fix this, I want to finally edit some pictures, thank you.
