If you experience connectivity issues or the following errors when installing or activating Luminar Neo, please try the steps given in this article:
- The connection has timed out. Check your internet, antivirus, or firewall settings and try again
- We’re having trouble connecting. Please check your internet connection and try again.
- To login into your Skylum Account, please connect your device to the Internet
- Turn off Windows Defender Firewall or add the app to the list of its exceptions.
- Either turn off your anti-virus or add Luminar to its list of exclusions. Consult your anti-virus manual for help.
- If your router has a firewall, temporarily disable it as well.
- Try an alternative Internet connection if possible - there may be a setting on your network that blocks outgoing connections. For instance, you can connect to your phone’s hotspot.
- If the solution above doesn't work, please try resetting the hosts file to the default value. You can find the instructions here.
