    Hi!

Could you please try increasing the size of your pagefile as in the example?

    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_10-performance/how-to-increase-virtual-memory-in-windows-10-a/46dacaf5-15cf-4f5d-9d5a-cba1401ae4c9

The pagefile is a minimum of 1.5 times and a maximum of two-three times your physical RAM. You can calculate your pagefile size using the following system:

For Custom: [1GB RAM (1024 mb) x Installed RAM x Minimum]

The Maximum is calculated this way: [1GB RAM (1024 mb) x Installed RAM x Maximum].

For example, if your RAM is 16 GB, please set the initial Custom size at 32768 mb and 49152 mb as the Maximum size.

But if increasing the pagefile doesn't bring any positive changes, please set it back to "Automatically manage paging files size for all drives".

More so, let's try navigating to the BIOS of your computer. Here's how: https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/enter-bios-computer/

Check if the computer is in the High-Performance mode. If so, please set it to the "Normal" mode.

Let us know how it goes.

The page file is set to system managed and it's showing 9728 MB in size. I don't see any reason why this software shouldn't work with a system managed page file. My machine has 64GB of ram so I'm not going to give up 100GB of my hard drive to the page file.

    Hi there,

If the software behaves this way, I kindly ask you to file a support request with our team at https://skylum.com/support That's something into which we need to dig deeper.

    Hi,

any updates on this issue? I have the same problem. So far, none of the suggestions of the support has worked. Has anyone found a solution?

Well I haven't used the software much lately but for a long time it was the only application causing this to happen so I figured it was the application. I purchased a AAA title game and it was also causing the same issue so I ended up getting a higher wattage PSU and I haven't seen the issue since. I think for whatever reason Luminar loads the CPU and GPU really hard for a few seconds when running some of the AI operations so if your system can't handle that for whatever reason it will just shut off.

    Hi Chris,

You may want to ensure that EZ system tuning is set to Normal in Bios.

Here's how you can do that:
