Thanks for the new update. Hope all the team is well and keeping safe.

When will the bug affecting Gradient Masks on cropped images be fixed? I still see it 1.0.7.

I’ve just uploaded version 1.0.7 and it’s slowed my Mac so much presently it’s unusable, any idea what the issue is and how I can solve it? You’ve also removed the clipping guides from the histogram that appeared on v1.0.6 which I find really useful where are these in the new version? Thanks

    @AndyBunce

I find 1.0.7 runs faster on my M1 iMac. Maybe you have something running in the background slowing your machine.

Press "J" to turn the clipping guides on/off.

    They are still there!

Howard, I’ve gone for the turn off turn on button so I try it again later today and I’ll also give the J button a tap. Thanks

Hello, I just switched from Luminar 4 to the NEO
version, I would like to bring you some
things that I find very annoying, hoping that
you will fix everything in the next update. 1 - The photos cannot be evaluated with a grade
of 1 to 5 2 - After applying the preset, if you try to
cut the photo the cutting guides are not
displayed, I need to go back to the library
and then go back to editing. 3 - I can't find the EXIF information 4 - I would like to be able to view 2 different
photos at the same time in order to choose
the best of a series. 5 - I notice that the speed hasn't improved that
    much compared to Luminar 4.

6 - Export the photos having the possibility to
    add a watermark

I am currently using a Mac Mini M1 with 16GB of ram. These are the first things I noticed after using
    your software for 2 hours.

    Thanks for your attention.

Thanks, I found the EXIF info.
I still have to get used to NEO,
I have been using Luminar 4 for a long time.
The info I was looking for in the edit tab.
I hope your suggestions are appreciated.
I use Luminar to edit sports photos.
I hope that you will return to work in your offices
as soon as possible and that peace will come soon.

Hi Ahsan - Thank you for your feedback! Let me address your remarks.

    1) Indeed, there is no rating system in Luminar Neo. However, the app allows you to browse through the images in the Catalog, mark them as favorites or rejected, delete the unnecessary ones, create albums out of those that you love, etc.

    2) It happens because the presets are white boxed (=open), and you can edit each tool that is part of it in the Edit tab after applying the preset.

    3) If a photo is selected, you can see its data in the Info tab (Catalog view), see the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/B38yPP33VaIh

    4) Thank you for your suggestion. I'll pass it to the development team for further consideration.

    5) As far as the performance is concerned, please reach out to our support team via https://skylum.com/support and they will be happy to assist you.

    6) At the moment, watermarks can be applied as follows:

    1. In the Edits tab, click on the + button in the Layers panel
    2. Click on Load Images and select a file with your watermark.
    3. The image with the watermark will appear among "My images". Click on it to apply the watermark.
    4. Open the Layer Properties menu in the Tools panel. You can resize the watermark and choose the blend mode. Choose Screen to remove a black background and Multiply to remove white background.
