Hi Luca - Please reach out to us at https://skylum.com/support so we can take a closer look at your particular case. We'll get you back to you asap.

It would also help us a lot if you could clarify some additional details:

    1. How much free space do you have on your drive?

    2. Where are your photos located? (internal, external drive)

    3. How many images are there in your Library? Please send us the screenshot of your Catalog file structure as in the example: https://prnt.sc/zyooi4

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have this same problem. I'm using NEO in plugin mode on a M1 Mac and it is incredibly slow, I have to wait over 30 seconds at times for the screen to refresh and even then it doesn't redraw the whole screen correctly. This is really bad.

    Hi Anderson,

Could you please let us know your hardware configuration? Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen, click About This Mac, and take a screenshot of the window that opens. Check out this article (click this text to open the link) about making screenshots on Mac if you need help with that. Attach the screenshot to your email at support@skylum.com

I am a new user of Luminar NEO on iMac M1. Neo 1.1.0 runs nice and smooth so far, no speed problems. Image results are fantastic.

I experienced the same problem. Very slow and sluggish. I have M2 Pro 24GB memory 1TB drive. Luminar is slow because the software itself is not built for Apple's new silicon (software limitation). It has nothing to do with the machine's hardware, I know it because I am a software engineer. So Luminar team PLEASE improve & upgrade the Luminar software stacks.

Many people from the Mac M1/M2 community also experience sluggishness. https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/luminar-ai-running-choppy-slow-on-m1-max-mbp.2323941/
