Dear Member
You win. Apparently, there is no way to block you from seeing my posts. So you get to decide who is a professional photographer, according to the equipment they list, and who is not. Even though they made a living through, well, I guess, according to you, their hobby.
And I guess all those influencers who aren't using pro gear but a iPhone and have millions of followers aren't really making a true living either.
In fact, you had a lot to say and I quote:
@ Randal Queen
You asked a question, answers came. Well-meant advice, no more and no less. Based on your photo equipment and the content of your question, I conclude that you are certainly not in the professional sector. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so. If you need this self-promotion, who cares? That is certainly better elsewhere than here in a forum for photography. But I hear there are people who need it. Your suggestions of what I should or shouldn't do, well, what else is there to say...It's of no interest.
With that, the thread is closed!
So somehow you determined that I am self promoting in a forum for a $75 app. Interesting. You also stated I don't need the best lens corrections when editing my images and that I don't understand the limitations of software development, even after explaining that I consulted with Adobe about software development. Hm.
You are simply the kind of person who takes all the facts and picks out which ones to use against someone so that you can put down others to elevate yourself. I normally would just block someone like you, but found out that:
I completely understand why you'd like to prevent this person from seeing your posts, however, regrettably, there's no way to prevent a specific person from seeing only your posts without blocking him from the community altogether.
I would advise you to disregard the messages from this person and if you do not want to receive email notifications about his replies.
Please let us know if any questions arise and have a wonderful day!
Best wishes,

So you win. I am leaving the forum. You see, I disagree with the folks at Skylum that one should be allowed to bully others and act like you do. So if they would prefer to value your opinions over my experience on the forum, then I will just discontinue the use of the forum. So congrats. You pushed a use off the forum. Probably not the first and apparently won't be the last to leave here over your narcissism.

I am sorry you are letting the anonymous eponymous Member win. Member is a condescending ass, not useful, and annoying when they deny bugs exist if they themself have not experienced them. Also annoying in trying to impress us that they always know what is best.
Member has said "I want edit my pictures with as little effort as necessary" and apparently does not respect workflows that are more designed to get an image of appropriate quality for their uses when different than their own workflow. (I did get a chuckle when Member told me that having a histogram wouldn't make their photos any better.)
Hang around, do some verbal target shooting. I'll be happy to join you as Member has annoyed me from some time. But if you leave, take with you my thanks for stimulating this little vent, which has been fermenting for a bit.
