How do you delete layers from layers catalog if you don't want them anymore?

I have so many layers in my layer catalog, how do I delete them?

Hi Skyler,

To delete the textures from the Layer menu, right-click them > choose Remove.

The same can be done during the editing process (when you want to remove a specific layer that you've applied to the image):

It will not allow me to right click to remove or show in Finder. The only thing I can do is Hide or remove from my edit. My layer catalog is getting pretty big with images I don't need and would love to be able to remove them
