NEO question: is there a way to create a "bokeh" effect for a picture's background?
AnsweredThe question is pretty clear. Shot some great vintage cars in a museum. The cars are fine...the backgrounds need to come down a bit so they won't distract from the car(s).
Thanks!

Add a new Adjustment Layer:

Once you select the background lower exposure.and boost shadows.

Hi David Ullman,
If you'd like to achieve a general blur effect, I can also advise moving both the AI Structure and Details sliders to the left to remove the detail. You can then use the masking tools to apply the effect selectively if you wish.
