Mac Version vs Windows Version

On my iMac, I click on Add Photos and the I can either add a photo or a folder. However, on my PC, I click on Add Photos and my only option is to add a folder. Why the different behavior? Is this a bug?

  See screenshot... notice there is also a keyboard shortcut 'Ctrl+O'

  Thanks for responding. I know how to edit a single image. My question is why is the Mac implementation different than the Windows implementation. Is it bug? Is there a limitation in Windows that precludes viewing/selecting files or folders? Or is this just a hacked Windows implementation.

  In Skylum products there has always been minor differences between the MacOS and Windows versions. Some differences may get ironed out over time, but for now that is the way it is.
