    Hello Ali,

    Please follow the steps below to install Luminar Neo as a plugin for Photoshop:

    1. Make sure Photoshop is closed.
    2. Download the plugin from here.
    3. Navigate to the Photoshop Plugins folder. The default path is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CC
      For Photoshop CS5 and CS6, the paths will look like this: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop version name\Plug-Ins\Filters
      and C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop version name\Plug-ins
    4. Copy the .8bf file into the folder(s) you've opened in Step 3

    Hi! Please try the following:

    1. Make sure Photoshop is not runningIf the app was running, reboot your PC before proceeding.
    2. Right-click the Luminar Neo icon > Run As Administrator.
    3. Click Luminar Neo> File > Install Plugins.
    4. Click Uninstall next to Photoshop.
    5. Reboot your PC.
    6. Right-click the Luminar Neo icon > Run As Administrator.
    7. Click Luminar Neo > File > Install Plugins.
    8. Click Install next to Photoshop.

    In case there's a message You have to install this software first, click Browse, and navigate to where the .exe file of your host application is. After you show Luminar where the host app is, you will be able to install the plugin for the host.

    sadly even after doing all that it still wont show up when I open CS6.. I checked and the plug-in is in the CS6 plug-in folder but alas!

    Just a thought, is the Plug-in compatible with CS6 64bit on windows 11?

    Hi Member,

    Please note that Luminar Neo can be used as a plug-in or extension for:

    • Lightroom Classic (starting from version 6);
    • Photoshop (from version CS5);
    • Photos for macOS;
    • Microsoft Photos (on Windows)

    Could you please navigate to the Photoshop Plugins folder and attach here a screenshot of its contents? The default path is: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop version name\Plug-Ins\Filters

    Member,

    Thank you very much for the screenshot. Can you please clarify if both Luminar Neo and Photoshop are installed to the default location?
