What a mess. On a mac, Mojave.
AnsweredDon't even know where to start. So instead of trying to salvage this thing, or any existing catalogs, and being new to Skylum and their software, I really just want to delete everything currently on this mac that Skylum is using, so I can do a clean install. Because right now, nothing is really working. Photos in the catalog are showing edited but I deleted that catalog and brought back in two photos. Go to edits and there are no edits, but in Catalog, it showing my images as if they have all the edits. There are a lot of ghost things going on, or the app refuses to quit and I have to Force Quit. The whole thing is acting confused. So before I make any decisions, I want to wipe Skylum off the mac and install cleanly. No residue. No prior catalogs. Like when you long press the app icon and have a choice of two catalogs, which you threw away. Why are those choices still there? A Plist? Some pref? Some backup? How can I start clean? Thank you. I really want this to work.

Hi Randal
I am no expert, but it's possible OS Mojave may just not be up to date enough to run a powerful new app like Neo.
However, I am on Monterey and have experienced similar issues. I have been in touch with Support and this is what they told me to do to clean install. Hope it helps you.
- Delete the app with AppCleaner. Download AppCleaner from here: http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner
Drag Luminar Neo from your Applications folder into the AppCleaner window. When removing Luminar, mark all the files and folders in the list, except for RTW788AXG3.com.skylum.luminarNeo. - Go to Pictures -> Luminar Neo Catalog and rename this folder (if you have created the Catalog in another Location, please navigate there and rename the Catalog folder).
- Open Luminar Neo Catalog folder, locate the file Luminar Neo Catalog.luminarneo and change its name too.
- Go to Application Support (launch Finder > Go > Go to Folder > paste /Library/Application Support/Skylum Software and delete Luminar Neo folder.
- Go to Terminal and paste: defaults delete com.skylum.luminarneo, then press Enter
- After that please install Luminar Neo back from the link below:

Thank you. I will try this in a bit. I have been working with computers since 1985 and am pretty burnt on beta testing by now. Surprised we need to download AppCleaner. Would think they could provide which files to toss. I've been doing this for so long, I just wanted to know the key areas to find these files. Not a cleaner. They should then write an uninstaller. But hey. At least you will get me to a clean install and for that I appreciate.
