Neo does not run after install

Have tried several times following the suggestions , but still after install try to start the program, the splash screen comes up, and the hard drive is working flat out but nothing happens, after a few minutes of frantic hard disk activity all stops and nothing on screen for skylum.
went to my account found the application not yet activated but nowhere to actually try to activate??
Very very frusrated espcially after such a long wait for this program to be available, maybe nhave tpo surrender and apply for full refund.
