Portrait AI creates bloom effect in background even with tight masking

I'm glad to have my copy of Neo BUT:
I see that Portrait AI has the same issues as Luminar AI (which is the main reason I avoided it) Even if I tightly mask to my subject and try the edge correction options ... I still get a "bloom" effect in the background close to my subjects.

For example - see the brightened area in the background surrounding the girl's toy fishing pole, and the gaps in the vertical bars in the background (compared with the original non-edited image). Is there a way to avoid this?  I've tried messing around with the brushes to Focus/Defocus/Restore around those items - but no joy.

  Hi Member,

  Does the Focus brush control in the Portrait Bokeh AI tool help to bring the necessary area to focus? 

  Since you're experiencing a similar issue, I kindly ask you to follow the instructions above and send us an image where the tool doesn't work as expected. We'll use it for better algorithm training.

  Would you be so kind as to send us the images of where the Portrait Bokeh AI tool didn't work that well? We'll be glad to look at the issue closely and see if it can be fixed by tweaking some sliders.
