NEO Scan QR Code
AnsweredTrying to connect NEO to my Samsung Phone. My phone and computer are on the same network but every time I scan the code it keeps telling me "Can't connect to Luminar NEWO". Please make sure your devices are connected to the same network and try again.
Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem. I really love this feature and would be a time saver if I could get it to work.
Also the connect option doesn't show up when opening an image from Lightroom. I have to open the image by itself to even see the option to connect.
Would also be nice to have the connect option in AI!!!

Also, try uninstalling/reinstalling the Share app. Reboot your computer and then try again.

Hi John,
Thanks for taking the time to try Luminar Share out. This is Luminar Neo's exclusive feature, so, currently, there are no plans to add it to Luminar AI.
Please note that there's no option to share an image to your mobile phone in the plugin mode because the plugin requires you to send the photo back to the host app.
If you have any connection issues with Luminar Share, first, please try the following flow:
First, fully close and re-open Luminar Share and tap the Scan QR code.
After this, re-open Luminar Neo > click on the Share button > Connect to generate the QR code and Scan it.
The Scanner (camera view) should be open while you're generating the new QR code in-app.
If the connection still fails, please try the steps below.
First, please find your mobile device’s IP address:
- instruction for Android: https://help.simpletelly.com/article/329-how-to-find-your-android-device-ip-address
Then, ping the mobile device from your Desktop:
- instruction for macOS: https://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/ping-test-mac-3524076/
If the ping fails:
1) Try to add exceptions to the firewall
- instruction for macOS: https://blink.ucsd.edu/technology/security/user-guides/firewall/mac-snow.html
2) Try to turn off AP isolation on your router (please refer to one of the links below depending on the model of your router):
