PC freezes at launching Luminar AI
AnsweredWhile starting Luminar AI, the pc completely freezes and had to restart PC manually.

Please, let our support team take a closer look at this issue. Please provide us with your hardware configuration at support@skylum.com:
- Press the Windows logo key + R.
- Type msinfo32 in the dialog box that opens and hit Enter on your keyboard.
- In the window that opens, make sure you have System Summary highlighted on the left.
- Click File > Export.
- Type the file's name (you can choose any you like), save it somewhere where you can easily find it, and attach this text file to support@skylum.com.

Meanwhile, if it's not your first time launching Luminar, you can try restoring the software from backup:
- Make sure Luminar is closed.
- Locate your Luminar AI Catalog folder. The default location is C:\Users\%username%\Pictures. If you specified a custom location for your catalog, search your custom location.
- Rename the Luminar AI Catalog folder. Choose any name you like.
Try to launch Luminar AI and create a new catalog. If you're able to load the app, please, try the following steps:
- Make sure Luminar is closed.
- Navigate to where your previous catalog is stored.
- Locate the Backups folder in the catalog and open it.
- In the Backups folder, select a file that has been created prior to when you encountered the issue with the library and copy the file somewhere where you can easily access it.
- Rename the file you just copied by adding the following after the file name (omit quotes): '.luminarai'.
- Start Luminar.
- Click Luminarᴬᴵ >File > Catalog > Open > point Luminar to the file from Step 5.
