Humble Bundle 2021 Instructions

Installing the Looks, LUTs, Skies and Templates from the Humble Bundle is quite confusing and comes with no instructions, so I have created this process using information I collected from much Google searching. Enjoy!
-- Preparation --
Download all packages from Humble purchase page
-- Install Luminar 4 and Looks --
1. Install and register Luminar 4
2. Extract the ".mplumpack" file from "analogfilmlooks.zip"
3. Extract the extensionless file from "signaturetemplatesandlooks_extraordinarylandscapes.zip" AND add a ".mplumpack" extension to it
4. Double-click each ".mplumpack" file to install it into Luminar 4
5. Close Luminar 4
-- Install Luminar AI and Looks--
6. Install and register Luminar AI - your Looks from Luminar 4 will be imported when you register
--- IMPORTANT: If you opened Luminar AI before installing the Looks into Luminar 4, follow these steps (Credit to Alex Bogush for this solution):
6a. Close Luminar AI and open the file "C:\Users\*YourName*\Appdata\Roaming\Luminar AI\StateSettings.xml" in Notepad
6b. Find the line "<IsFirstLaunch>false</IsFirstLaunch>" and replace "false" with "true
6c. Save and close the file
6d. Install the Looks into Luminar 4 as above
6e. Launch Luminar AI once again
-- Install Luminar AI Templates --
7. Change extension of "templates_vangoghartisticcollection.zip" file to ".ltc"
8. Extract extensionless files from the other four "templates_***.zip" files
9. Add ".ltc" extension to extensionless files
10. Double-click each ".ltc" file to install it into Luminar AI
11. Close Luminar AI
-- Install Luminar AI Skies --
12. Extract the "JPEG" folder from "skies_milkywaygalaxy.zip"
13. Rename the "JPEG" folder to "Milky Way Galaxy Skies by Jabi Sanz"
14. Extract the "JPEG + TIFF\Tropical Skies by Edin Chavez JPEG" folder from "skies_tropicalskies.zip"
15. Rename the "Tropical Skies by Edin Chavez JPEG" folder to "Tropical Skies by Edin Chavez"
16. Move BOTH folders to "C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar AI\profiles\SkyTextures"
-- Install Luminar AI LUTs --
17. Create new folder named "Default" in "C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar AI\Data\LutFiles"
18. Move the four folders that were already there into your new "Default" folder
19. Extract LUT folder from each "luts_***.zip" file - watch out for double nesting in "luts_happytogetherlutssollection.zip"
20. Create new folder named "Humble" in "C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar AI\Data\LutFiles"
21. Delete "HOW TO USE.png" from folder "Street Vibe LUTs Collection"
22. Place LUT folders in your new "Humble" folder
-- Conclusion --
23. Install Aurora HDR and PhotoLemur
24. OPTIONAL: Uninstall Luminar 4
You can access your LUTs through the Edit/Creative/Mood tab of Luminar AI, your templates through the Templates/Purchased tab and your Looks through the Templates/Legacy tab.

sadly the windows and Mac version are not quite a 1 to 1 version so there is no XML file that I can find in there. I also cant find the folder to place the sky textures.
it also will not import the looks from Luminar 4 for some reason. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling luminar AI but it still won't find the legacy looks. a little disappointed skylum has made this so convoluted. seems almost deliberate to try and force people to just get frustrated and but them from their store. -

Hi everyone,
Please note that we do not recommend placing the sky textures to C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar AI\profiles\SkyTextures. Any subsequent update of the software will remove them from the list.
If you'd like to add the sky textures to the software (so that they constantly appear there), please follow the steps below:
click Skyᴬᴵ > Sky Selection > select upper menu with skies > Show Custom Skies > copy the skies to the folder that opens.
We recommend keeping no more than 50 skies loaded at a time for better performance.

This instruction is valid for both macOS and Windows users.
As for LUTs, placing them into C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar AI\Data\LutFiles will result in them being removed after the next update since this is not a documented way to use LUTs. It can also cause stability issues.
At the moment, LUT files can be uploaded one by one, so I recommend storing them in any convenient and easily accessible location on your drive and then accessing them this way:- Launch Luminarᴬᴵ
- In the top bar menu, switch to the Edit tab.
- Scroll down to the Creative section.
- Click Mood > Choose LUT > Load Custom LUT file
- A dialog window will open where you'll need to navigate to the folder with your LUTs and choose the one you need.
- Confirm the selection and enjoy the tool.

Member, as for the StateSettings file, please note that Luminar on Macs has a different organization of system folders. It doesn't have an AppData folder containing the StateSettings file.
If you need to migrate some looks from Luminar 4 to Luminar AI, you may want to follow the steps below:
Please make sure you have these looks installed in Luminar 4.
Next, try reinstalling LuminarAI. If you have created your user templates or added any skies or sky objects to the app make sure to secure them somewhere else, as they will be deleted too. We recommend doing a full uninstall with AppCleaner. AppCleaner is a free app that automatically removes not only applications but also the related files, making 'clean' uninstall easy.
- Download AppCleaner from here (click this text to open the link).
- Install AppCleaner and start it.
- Drag LuminarAI from your Applications folder into the AppCleaner window. When removing LuminarAI, mark all the files and folders on the list.
- Once you've uninstalled LuminarAI, restart your Mac and download a fresh version of Luminar following this link:
