Hi James! We've tested the app and can confirm that Luminar AI should work fine on macOS Monterey.

Agatha, what about Luminar 4? When I tried it this morning editing in Luminar 4 was slow and prone to giving up the ghost. I only tried to edit 4 images. I had a 50% success rate and those fails may be caused by something other than Luminar 4.

    Hi John,

We've tested Luminar 4 (version 4.3.3) as well and it works fine on macOS Monterey. Please click Luminar 4 > Check for updates to get the latest build.

If it's not the case, reach out to our support team via https://skylum.com/support and they will be happy to assist you. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the speedy response, Agatha. I have the latest version on Luminar 4. I'll see how it goes and watch out for other factors affecting me. Luminar 3 is working perfectly.

I have just upgraded my M1 mac to Monterey and are experiencing the same issue. The software is unusable. I have just tried a clean install and continue to have problems.

Just checking back on this. I have a 2020 Intel MBP and was about to upgrade to Monterey, but remembered how far off Luminar was in fixing issues after Big Sur was released last year. At the time, I had Luminar 3 and was so frustrated that it had already been relegated to "Legacy" non-supported status that I was about to ditch Luminar entirely. The support team graciously gave me a free upgrade to Luminar 4. It just seems like the pattern has been for there to be issues with existing Luminar software that crop up after MacOS upgrades. I'm hesitant to upgrade.

    Hi Joel,
We haven't been able to reproduce the issue with slower performance in Luminar 4 on our end.
If you encounter any issues after the upgrade, please reach us at https://skylum.com/support so we can sort everything out.

Not impressed. Luminar 4 is a no show on Monterrey.

Initially worked for about 10 minutes the crashed. Won't start again.
