    Hi Andrew,

Sorry to hear that Luminar doesn't work as expected for you.

Usually, the performance depends on several factors such as the number of photos you have in your catalog, their format (it can take a bit more time to load RAW or TIFF files), your hardware configuration, and the place where you store your photos (it works faster when the photos are located on an internal drive).

It would help us a lot if you could clarify some additional details:

    1. How much free space do you have on your drive?
    2. Where are your photos located? (internal, external drive)
    3. How many images are there in your Library? Please send us the screenshot of your Catalog file structure as in the example: https://prnt.sc/zyooi4

To address your remark about Luminar Neo, we usually ship the upgrades (or new software) every 12-24 months. The upgrades are the next versions of the app, which require purchasing a separate license for them and the upgrades are absolutely optional. To learn more about the differences between Luminar Neo, LuminarAI and Luminar 4, visit this link https://skylum.com/luminar-neo, scroll down the page a bit and click on Difference between Luminar apps.

Hope to hear from you soon.
