    Hi Richard,

At the moment, our devs have two major tasks: algorithm performance improvements and resource use optimization. We expect the next update for Luminarᴬᴵ to include some improvements to the performance.

In the meantime, our support team can take a deeper look at what may be causing this issue on your end (since your computer is quite powerful) and advise on how it can be improved. If you are interested in investigating this, please reach us via https://skylum.com/support.

Please post the results of this. Due to similar performance issues, I only use Luminar AI as a plug in

Try to convert RAW file to TIFF file and then try to process/edit the photo. I can see big performance difference between editing RAW file vs TIFF file. TIFF should be lossless.

It takes forever for the folder to load all the images regardless if they are .jpg .tiff or .cr2.

I applied the fix customer support suggested and it worked once. Files loaded quickly as they should. Then it reverted back to taking 20 minutes to load 200 .tiff images. One should not need to convert to .tiff in order to have a raw file program work correctly

    Hi Scott Baker,

I'm sorry to hear this. Does this issue persist in the latest update?
