Shine Removal
AnsweredHi
I'm using the latest version of Luminar AI for Windows. Remove skin defects is great. But remove shine doesn't seem to do anything much at all. Certainly doesn't remove or even reduce shine.
Feels like something that could be seriously improved.
Thanks
Andy

Hello Andrew,
We need to be able to reproduce the issue on our end in order to understand at which point it occurs and troubleshoot it. Please send us a screen recording of the issue.
You can use Monosnap to record your screen: https://monosnap.com/welcomeHere's how you can send us the file with the recording:
- Visit https://wetransfer.com/
- If it's your first time visiting this website, it might ask you to purchase a subscription. Simply select to proceed with the free version.
- Click Add your files.
- Select the file(s) on your computer.
- After you see all the files you need to send appear in the list, click the icon to the left of the Transfer button (the icon looks like a circle with three dots in it).
- In Send As select Link.
- Click Transfer.
- After the files have finished uploading, click Copy Link and paste it into your support request at https://skylum.com/support
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm not sure what was going on. After a restart, the shine removal slider does seem to be working now. Yesterday it didn't do anything. Today is does.
It feels like it nearly does what I need. With the slider at 100% it's removing about 80% of the shine. It would be great to give the tool a bit more reach in the next version. I reckon about 140% would do it :) In my image today I still needed to clone stamp some nearby colour over the shiny skin to tone it down a bit.
