Can a text be added to photos in Luminar?  I’d like to start adding my name/signature to my photos?  BTW, I’m a Mac user and Hobbyist.  I also have Affinity Photo for editing software

    Hi Nancy,

For now, there is no functionality to add text to the photos in Luminar.

However, you can add the watermark to the image with the help of the new image layer.

Please check this page to get more information:

This is Luminar 3 I’m using.  Not even in the new Luminar 4?

    Hi Nancy,

I am afraid that in Luminar 4 you will also have the possibility to add the watermark via the layers only, at least in the initial version. However, we will forward your request to the person in charge.

Nancy, I've just seen your post as I was checking to see whether the latest version of Luminar 4 has a text facility. It doesn't.

Like you, I am a mac user and hobbyist. I use Apple's Photos as my organiser. Luminar and 'Markup' are two of my extensions. After editing in Luminar, I use the 'Mark Up' editor in Photos. You cannot edit the text you added to the photo if you have edited the photo after using Markup.

    Hi,
I’m trying to create a presets lack in Luminar.https:cracksz.com I know how to create presets but not the pack. Is .mplumpack just a zip file with a different extension?

    Thank you.

    HI David,

Currently it's only possible to create single looks (presets) with Luminar 4. Thanks for your understanding.
