So, I was enthused by all the hype surrounding Luminar coming to Windows, so I waited patiently. Then downloaded the Beta. Beta worked great, so when Luminar 2018 for Windows was released, I jumped on it, forked over the cash right away. But...Luminar 2018 was riddled with bugs. How does that happen?
But wait, "Luminar with Libraries" was announced, the long-awaited DAM. So, when it launched as a free upgrade, I was excited. Then I upgraded, L3 is full of bugs & broken functionality. DAM(n) is right!
C'mon Skylum! You took my money over 2 years ago & have yet to deliver a functional product for that money. Your money back quarantee is a joke. It should be lifetime, no questions asked. Or at minimum, until you fix the issues with your product. Now, you expect me to pay to upgrade to L4? Nope. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I had even left Adobe briefly once my subscription ran out. Worst 3 months of my photography life, so I'm back with Adobe & that's where I'm staying.
At least you did ONE thing right, Skylum. You got Adobe off their butt & they are now upgrading their products on a regular basis & guess what, they actually work!! So, THANK YOU for that! I hope losing me as a potential long-term customer was worth the cash grab.
A bit of advice for you: focus more on features that matter, less on gimmicks. And, follow a golden rule of business: under promise & over deliver.
