lmnr files and embedded RAW data
It's fantastic that you have brought back .lmnr files with Flex. This makes carrying edits between computers much better. However you have re-introduced them with the massive draw back that the original implementation had, namely you embed the original file in the .lmnr file. I can understand the simplicity of doing this but my RAW files are 80MB a pop. Duplicating the RAW in the .lmnr file eats storage rapidly.
The option of simply using a file system logical reference, not the physical drive reference like you do with your catalogue..., rather than embedding the file would be very welcome. Others like Adobe and DXO seem to manage this without a problem.
Thinking about it this is probably a conceptual issue that the Skylum team has with sidecar files and storing them with the original RAW file. See my other request for saving to the original folder...
