What if Skylum eventually becomes the best software ever? They came out in 2017 or so. Lightroom came out in 2013. That's a long time for one product to end up amazing compared to say just 2-3 years (not justifying Luminar). You will see me on here posting the most negative things you've seen, but I just want to leave that out there. They are going to get my 50 bucks (I'm not a pro, so I get by with their stuff). Yes it's like a beta software release, but they promise the world. I'm as salty as anyone else about this, but they can get my money one last time for what I call a paid update. I'm sure they are trying to get more funds for less awful programmers and maybe might fire their current staff (hopefully), and I've got 50$ for that.
Is there a chance we all got hustled? Yes. Is there a chance that hustle is to eventually give us a true mainstream product? Yes. Time will tell if this is worth it or not, but unless your an actual pro, Luminar will get you by even on version 3.
