Dear Skylum team,
After the releases of some updates I still have to say that the application has issues and bad performance.
I have updated to the latest Windows 10 version 1903, reinstalled the MS Visual C++ redistributables and still it gives me a bad performance, bugs and/or critical issues, and even freezes and unexpectable program exits.
My CPU is I5-6500 3.2GHz 4 core's with 8 GB of RAM ... does that fit within the application requirements? When I use Luminar no other application is active...there is enough RAM available. Mostly more than 50%.
My catalog contains 7.300 images, RAW and JPG.
Some of the critical issues I still have:
- Bad performance in general
- Application freezes wenn using for example the Clone & Stamp function and the Erase function
- Application freezes wenn export a RAW to JPG (if you wait it sometimes takes 15 minutes) and the CPU and HDD is going to 100% for quiet a while). The other time it takes 5 minutes (which is still too long).
- Navigation through images. After having done some selctions and, for example, move them to trash, the right mouse click context menu does not work anymore, it simply shows only a black line on the screen, and the Export button is greyed out
There are more smaller bugs, which are less important for me right now. Those mentioned above are critical and should be solved in the next release, otherwise for me Luminar 3 will be history. The only thing which could be my problem is that my hardware does not meet the application system requirements.
Thanks for your support.
Best regards, Edwin
