Move images from Library into new album?
AnsweredI'm a relatively new Luminar user and don't know how to move images from my Library (which are listed by date) into a New Album. I imported images before creating the Album. Could someone help me out?

Hi Walter,
If you're viewing your photos via Shortcuts > All Photos > and then by year, etc. these are actually shortcuts based on the embedded metadata of your image. Your photos themselves are stored in the folder you chose on import. You'll see those listed farther down the right-hand column under Folders.
To move photos into Albums (which does not move the physical file, but instead creates a shortcut) just drag the image(s) into the desired Album.
You can find more detailed information on organizing your images here: https://skylum.com/luminar/user-guides/chapter-11-organizing-images and https://skylum.com/luminar/user-guides/chapter-12-navigating-managing-your-library
Please let me know if you have any other questions or if I can clarify anything.

Chiming in a bit late here, but I already have all my images in albums that were created with Adobe Camera Raw. How do I move those already created ones, that is listed as "folders" into albums? If I have to create each and everyone, including subfolders, that will take weeks to get done.
