Cannot activate Luminar 3.1
I purchased Luminar 3 yesterday, I was able to activate it in one computer, but cannot activate it in 2 others, I am getting the authentication failed / incorrect e-mail address error message.
I see a lot of posts about activation problems and commonly support requests a copy of the hosts file, mine is the way it gets created by Windows, no modifications made to it. I am wondering what is the significance of the hosts file for this problem. Do you know if an entry needs to be made to allow communication with the activation server? I compared the one in the computer that works with the ones in the computers that do not work and they are identical.
Has anyone dealt with this problem recently and has been able to resolve it successfully?
My 3 computers are identical in the way they are setup, I set them up myself. Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, Bitdefender Total security antivirus, etc.
I have tried disabling the antivirus software, re-installing Luminar, etc. but no luck.
I will greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide, I opened a service ticket with support, but have not heard back.
Miguel.

Hi Terry,
Thank you for the assistance. I already activated the program in the second computer, have not tried the third but it should work.
I am curious, if there was a typo in my e-mail in your system how come it worked in one computer but not the others?
I am sure it is something I did to cause the problem but it is strange.
Regards,
Miguel.

Hi Miguel,
There was indeed a small typo in your email address which we successfully corrected. Apparently, it happened when you activated the software on your first computer and because it was not how your email address spells, you were unable to activate Luminar anymore. Don't hesitate to contact us at https://skylum.com/support if you need more help!
