I had the issue that after the update to version 3.1 of Luminar 3, the application showed only the splash screen and then crashed. But I found a solution so I wanted to share it in case it maybe works for anybody else too:
I had to start Luminar 3 as administrator, and suddenly the app started working again. You have to do this just one time, after that it seems to work as normal!
