I have the same issue. But I got an error message that something is wrong with C++.

"Runtime Error" E6025 - pure virtual function call

It's a kind of nightmare with the Skylum-Software.

Please try reinstalling Luminar 3. Follow the steps below:

    Uninstall Luminar.

    Clear your registry:

    • Visit https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download?pc
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the table and click Download from CCleaner.com in the first column.
    • Once the download has finished, launch the file and install CCleaner on your computer.
    • Launch CCleaner.
    • Click Registry on the left.
    • Click Scan for Issues in the lower left. Wait for the scan to finish.
    • After the scan has finished, click Fix Selected Issues in the lower right.
    • Close CCleaner.

    Reboot your PC.

Download the latest version of Luminar from here:

    https://luminar3.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com/win/Luminar3_Installer.exe

Once the installer has finished downloading, locate it in your Downloads folder (or wherever you chose to save it), right-click the file, and click Run As Administrator. A prompt may appear asking you whether you wish to confirm your action, click Yes and wait for the installer to load. Then, follow the instructions on the screen.

Hi. After one hour with de-installation and all above mentioned hints - the error "pure virtual function call" of module "image_reader_process.exe" still appears.

    I'm frustrated.

Please add the new AI-filter asap into Luminar-Flex! I hope this solve the problem.

Thanks - but it doesn't fix the problem. :-(

The software-team have to re-check the image_reader_process.exe. This file have the error.

    Hi Everyone,

I am sorry for the inconvenience.

    Please try the following solution:

    1. Download Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable here (click this text to open link). Select your preferred language, click Download, mark vcredist_x64.exe with a checkbox, and click Next to download it.
    2. Download Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable here (click this text to open link). Select your preferred language, click Download, mark vcredist_x64.exe with a checkbox, and click Next to download it.
    3. Download Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable here (click this text to open link). Download should begin automatically as soon as you click the link.
    4. Press the Windows key on your keyboard and type in Add or remove programs. Windows will suggest the matching app, open it.
    5. In the list of installed applications locate all entries that have Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable in the title and uninstall them one by one.
    6. In the list of installed applications locate all entries that have Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable in the title and uninstall them one by one.
    7. In the list of installed applications locate all entries that have Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable in the title and uninstall them one by one.
    8. Install the package you downloaded in Step 1.
    9. Install the package you downloaded in Step 2.

Hi, everybody. I'm having the same issue. Luminar consumes more than 27GB of RAM ( I have 32GB im my PC ) and after finishing the JPG creation ( no activity on storage ), it very very slowly frees up the memory. Garbage-Collector issue ? Memory management issue ? Or an issue running more than one process in parallel ( I see 2 image_reader_process.exe running at the same time, same with the exit_tool.

    cheers Gerald

He guys! I am sorry about that, we are working on the improvements.
Performance of the app depends on the catalog size, first of all. How many images do you have in your catalog?

Hi Anastasia, I have 90000+ picture in my catalog. How ever, the size of the catalog should not have any impact on the my use case: i'm selecting pictures from the a folder and let the selected picture get created as Jpg's ( as you my may guess correctly i'm selected Raw-Files ). All exstisting Jpg's should get skipped.

    cheers Gerald

Just experience this for the first time today on an image I've been working on all day. Moving back to On1. Should have had this fixed months ago.
