Aurora HDR 2019 needs to be updated before it can support Luminar 3. While we're preparing the update, you can try the following solution:

    For MacOS:

    1. Open Finder, click Go > Go to Folder and paste the following path: /Library/Application Support/MacPhun Software/Luminar3/Plug-Ins. There will be a bunch of files in there, the one you're interested in has .plugin extension.
    2. Copy the .plugin file somewhere where you can easily find it.
    3. In Aurora, click Plugins > Other > Open Plugin > point Aurora to the .plugin file you just copied. Luminar should open.

    For Windows:

    1. Open a photo in Aurora.
    2. Click Plugins >  Other > Open Plugin.
    3. Navigate to the folder where your copy of Luminar 3 is installed. By default it's C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar 3.
    4. Double-click Luminar3.8bf. Luminar 3 should open as a plugin in Aurora.

    I can't see a Luminar3 subdirectory in  /Library/Application Support/MacPhun Software

Have LuminarFlex, Luminar2018, Aurora2018 and the old Creative Kit stuff

    Hi Richard,

Please try reinstalling Luminar. Follow the steps below:

    Download AppCleaner from here:

    http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner

AppCleaner is a free app that automatically removes not only the applications themselves but also the related files, making 'clean' uninstall easy.

When removing Luminar 3, mark all the files and folders in the list, except for DPA6233TPQ.com.macphun.luminar3.

Once you're done uninstalling the app, restart your Mac and download a fresh version from here:

    https://luminar3.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com/mac/Luminar3Installer.zip

If you need help with the installation, check out this page:

    https://support.apple.com/kb/ph25083?locale=en_US

After a reinstall you should be able to find the plugin in the directory specified by my colleague above. If the problem persists, please contact us at www.skylum.com/support and include a link to this thread in your message.
