    Hi John,

Thanks for your suggestion. This camera model is quite new, thus we haven't implemented support for it yet. Nevertheless, we are constantly adding new cameras to the list.
I will pass your suggestion on Panasonic Lumix S1/S1R to our developers.

    Hello,

I have found that in addition to the Adobe products, On1 Photo RAW and DxO PhotoLab both support the Lumix S1/S1R RAW files. And, I have found both applications very good for my needs. Please let me know when you will support these cameras and I'll take another look at Luminar.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi John,

Sure, we will keep you posted.

For now, we recommend you to install Adobe DNG Converter and convert your RAW files to DNG file format (which is supported by Luminar).

Please use one of the links below to download Adobe DNG Converter:

    For Mac OS:

    For Windows:

Hi Brian, I'm afraid not yet, but our developers will do their best to implement .rw2 support as soon as possible.

    Hello,

    I'm trying to buy a Luminar 4 and I'm using a Panasonic S1,

so I'm wondering when RW2 raw will be supported.

Will rw2 support be available when Luminar 4 is released?

If not, when do you expect?

I've heard that if I don't like the Luminar 4, I can get a refund within a month,

but it's hard to use if i don't get support within a month.

The support of Panasonic S1 RAW files will be added in our future updates for Luminar. As for now, we don't have ETA, but our developers are working around the clock right now to get this feature added as soon as possible.

This is unnaceptable. After those months you can't add support for rw2 files and Luminar 3 and 4. I bought Luminar 3 and there is no way of working with those. This not a new format as it used by prior Panasonic cameras as well.

    Hi George,

    Have you tried Luminar 4?

Panasonic S1 is already supported by Luminar 4.

Please check the list of the supported cameras:

    Thank you Anna.
However why Luminar 3 doesn't work with it?
    File not found though.

    Hi George,

Luminar 3 hasn't been updated yet, therefore it doesn't have this camera support for now.

It is not fair to leave Luminar 3 users behind.

If Luminar 4 is already supported, Luminar 3 should be the same. We really need it now!

Your software is getting popular and you need to take care of your customer well before they leave you.

    Thanks
