Confused by Aex Tsepko's email
Good morning. After an inauspicious start with Luminar 3 for Windows, the latest version works nicely on my almost new and quite powerful Windows 10 machine. I was confused by the CEO's email this morning. I currently use Luminar 3 as a plugin to Photoshop CC 2019, jumping in and out of Luminar, as a part of my regular workflow. I'm very happy with this workflow. I realize that I can't access the Luminar DAM when using Luminar 3.0 as a plugin to Photoshop. That isn't a problem for me, since most of my photos are panoramas that I stitch together in ACR - Photoshop. Will I still be able to access Luminar as a plugin from within Photoshop? Thanks. -Paul

Hi Paul,
Based on the description of your workflow, the new Luminar Plugin will be a great addition to your workflow. It does not include the Library function and adds in Smart Filter options.
At some point Luminar 3 will no longer be a plugin option from Photoshop - the Luminar Plugin will be taking its place and will have all of the same functionality for editing but without the added weight of the Library.

Hi.
If Luminar 3 works for you... great. All Luminar 3 users will get a free copy of it when it launches.Eventually, the ability to run Luminar as a plugin will only work through the plugin edition.
Luminar Plugin also has a few benefits
- Support for Photoshop Actions
- Ability to reopen filter and resume where you left off if using as a Smart Object
- Performance as its specifically optimized to run as a plugin.
I hope that helps.
