Hi Wayne, we can extend the trial, so you can properly test our software. Please send your JPEGs to our support team along with the HDR image with chromatic aberration, we'll test your images.

    Hi Wayne,

Thank you for sending us the files.

We've tested them, but couldn't find any issues. Everything seems to work as expected.

Here are the settings we used for both brackets: http://prntscr.com/mrox00

Here are the results: https://prnt.sc/mrowbj http://prntscr.com/mroxl6

Could you, please specify the issue in a more detailed way?

    What setting do you use?

I used those settings to correct chromatic aberration.

If you look closely at the edge of the images processed in Aurora2019 you will see that all the "edges" of the roof etc have processing lines added

    Hi Wayne,

Chromatic Aberration is generally purple or green. I don't see any chromatic aberrations in the image you shared. However, I do see the fringing you're referring to which is usually the result of over sharpening. Do you have the raw files available to process or just the jpgs?

JPGs have sharpening applied to them by the camera so any artifacts (such as fringing) can be exaggerated by processing.

These are JPEG files and when processed in Photomatix I don't get the "fringing" as posted above.

Its being introduced by AuroraHDR2019, not through sharpening prior to merging. The files come straight from the camera.

    Back to you...

We couldn't reproduce the issue on our end (see the close-up view): http://prntscr.com/mthjw7

Please make sure that you don't use the 'Sharpen' option while exporting your images: http://prntscr.com/mthln1

None of the images have been sharpened

I can see the fringe line on both images, the one on the right just has a darker exposure

If you look at the example attached processed in Photomatix there is no fringe line.

That's around 7 people from support that have now responded - we are going round in circles here....

When is someone in support going to escalate the issue instead of being passed from one person to another?

Could you clarify if you have applied any effects/filters to the image in Aurora HDR 2019? What OS do you use?

Here's the comparison of 3 images: my result (on the left), the original EV 0 image (in the center) and the image processed by you (on the right): http://prntscr.com/mthvgo

Personally, I can't see any difference in fringe lines on my result and on the original image.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I haven't applied any filters or effects in the edit in AuroraHDR2019.

I have attached a link to another 5 JPEGS with the result after processing, This is worse.

    I can see the difference

Again, my result is very different: http://prntscr.com/mtj759

We need to be able to reproduce the issue on our end in order to understand at which point it occurs and troubleshoot it. Please send us a screen recording of the issue.

You can use Monosnap to record your screen on Windows: https://monosnap.com/welcome

Here's how to record your screen on Mac: https://support.apple.com/guide/quicktime-player/record-your-screen-qtp97b08e666/mac

Monosnap crashes when recording a large file, so I cant send you a file.

However I am running Windows 7 SP1 with 8GB of memory and plenty of storage. i5 processor

I load the files into Aurora and click GHOSTING and remove CHROMATIC ABERRATION and let the files process.

Without touching an filters or changing any settings I get the fringe line which I don't get with Photomatix.

    Thx

    Hi Wayne ,

Unfortunately, the files got deleted on wetransfer. Could you please send them to our Support Team to support@skylum.com via wetransfer once again so we could test them. Also, please, send us the images processed in Photomatrix. Thanks in advance.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Angela,

I posted the link, it was sent to Helena 3 days ago ABOVE.

Please can someone take ownership so I don't have to deal with all 150 people that work for Skylum.

Why don't you operate a ticketing system so its owned and actioned by a single person not 10 different people.

This has been going on now for over two weeks its ridiculous.

Would Trey Radcliffe or Jim Nix get this sort of support?

    Hi Wayne,

I'm very sorry for the frustration. We do have a ticketing system when users contact us via www.skylum.com/support or support@skylum.com. I will check with our team and see if I can get an update for you on your ticket.

The forums work independently and offer a way for users to interact with each other. While our support team does monitor these threads, the best way to get streamlined support is via our support page on our website or support email.
