From the manual, I know that Luminar 3 stores the adjustments of my image edits in the catalog and holds these in an *.state file for every single image.
Now I'm wondering if it would be possible to transfer individual images including the edit adjustments from one catalog to another in Luminar 3.
Here is what I want to do: I have two catalogs, one on the internal SSD of my MacBook Pro and another on my NAS. After taking pictures, I copy the pictures from my camera to a folder on the SSD of my MacBook Pro I called "Selection". When I launch Luminar the newly added images are shown in the library because the catalog refers to this folder "Selection".
Here I rate the pictures and decide which of them I want to keep and which I delete. Then I organize the pictures in subfolders of the actual catalog and edit some of them and make adjustments.
Later, I want to release space on the internal SSD of my MacBook Pro and therefore I move the images out of the subfolders to my NAS. Now I can open the catalog file on the NAS in Luminar 3. In the library are shown the transferred images together whith the already on the NAS stored images.
Unfortunately, only the images are there, but not the adjustments of my edits - these are not transferred to the NAS. I would like to continue or change my edits with some of the pictures stored on the NAS. But since the adjustments were lost when transferring images from the SSD to the NAS, I have to start over again.
So my question is: is there a way in Luminar 3 to move images including all adjustments from one catalog to another without losing the adjustments? With Luminar 2018, I am able to save a * .lmnr file and later open it again with all adjustments I've already made. Is someting like this possibility available in Luminar 3 as well?
If it is not possible to transfer an image together with its adjustments from one catalog to another in Luminar 3 I kindly ask to understand this as a feature request and pass it on to the developers.
