The catalog exists and on my machine is dated to 15/12/18 (15 December 2018) - I'm Australian so don't use the US dating.

I can export from Lightroom, apply a look in 3.02 and return to Lightroom. I cannot start the software alone - the beachball just keeps tumbling. Any thoughts?

@Therese I was able to revert to previous version of Luminar by restoring from Time Machine. Had to restore both application and the entire Luminar Catalog folder. After doing this, reinstalling the the plugin options for Photoshop and Lightroom are necessary.

Hope this works for you. There are a lot of unhappy users right now because for some of us, the update completely wiped out and rebuilt the Luminar catalog - i.e. lost all edits and ratings!!! Here's a link to that post: https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360041590171-Updated-Luminar-to-version-3-0-2-and-lost-all-my-edits-and-ratings

Hi Bruce, I've seen your history from the link you provided. The whole thing is a mess. 3.01 worked fine for me, but when I restored from Backup, I found the problems and I probably should follow your suggestions, but it will have to wait a couple of hours! Thanks for the information!

Hi Therese! Please try to reinstall Luminar this way.

    Download AppCleaner from here:

    http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner

AppCleaner is a free app that automatically removes not only the applications themselves but also the related files, making 'clean' uninstall easy.

When removing Luminar 3, mark all the files and folders in the list, except for DPA6233TPQ.com.macphun.luminar3.

Once you're done uninstalling the app, restart your Mac and download a fresh version from here:

    https://luminar3.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com/mac/Luminar3Installer.zip

If you need help with the installation, check out this page:

    https://support.apple.com/kb/ph25083?locale=en_US

If the issue remains, please try removing your catalog and creating a new one in a different location.

    1. Make sure Luminar is closed.
    2. Locate your Luminar Catalog folder. The default location is %username%\Pictures\. If you specified a custom location for your catalog, search your custom location.
    3. Rename the Luminar Catalog folder. Choose any name you like.

Can you provide a download link for version 3.0.1 So a reinstall is possible after using the appcleaner if 3.0.2 proves unstable, unreliable, or problematic?

    G'day from Sydney!

Time differences and other work meant I didn't respond because the message came through at 2.26AM Sydney time on Thursday morning and I had just headed to sleep.

Followed Anastasia Davis' instructions, but took the opportunity to get rid of the catalogue (just in case) as I primarily use Luminar as a plugin to Lightroom.

    So far everything is working!

Help is much appreciated. Thanks also to Bruce Tracy for his suggestions!

You are all exceptionally kind - it is lovely to see such a co-operative community.

    @Bruce
    Contacted you via mail.

Just in case, here's the link to the 3.0.1 version: https://luminar3.s3-accelerate.amazonaws.com/mac/Luminar3_3_0_1.dmg

Please, note that you'll have to insert your activation info one more time.
