Luminar 3.0.2 is here
WHAT’S NEW FOR WINDOWS USERS?
Many performance improvements and new features await users of Luminar for Windows. Thanks for all your feedback; it helps us make Luminar great. We hope you enjoy this new release!
SUBFOLDER MANAGEMENT
Subfolders make it easy to organize your image library. Subfolders are folders nested inside other folders in your catalog, and they link directly to real folders on your hard drive.
Subfolder creation. You can now create a new subfolder by right-clicking on an existing folder in your Library.
Subfolder deletion. It’s now possible to delete a subfolder as well by right-clicking on it in your Library.
LOCATE A FOLDER
Have you moved or copied photos to a new location? If so, the folders you’ve moved or copied will be marked as offline in your Luminar Library. You can now right-click an offline folder and choose Locate Folder to find it at its new location and reconnect the files.
IMPROVEMENTS WHEN ADDING FOLDERS
Change your mind when adding a folder? Just click Cancel to stop the current task.
OFFLINE FILE ALERTS
See an alert indicating unavailable files and folders.
IMPROVED NAVIGATION
Quickly switch between Gallery and Single Image views with dedicated toolbar buttons.
SHORTCUT KEYS
Take advantage of new keyboard shortcuts for View, Looks Navigation, Masks, Tools, and Edit.

Hi Stéphane Réthoré, Gerd W., Hirsch Lothar,
I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Please contact us at http://www.skylum.com/support so we could investigate the issue in a more scrupulous way.

Wow great performance, Luminar doesn't need more 25 minutes to start but only 10 minutes, that is performance.
-
We're aware of the performance issues, and we're truly sorry if you encountered them.
We will release an update meant to target these issues in the late spring.
Please try creating a new Luminar Catalog:
- Make sure Luminar is closed.
- Locate your Luminar Catalog folder. The default location is C:\Users\%username%\Pictures\. If you specified a custom location for your catalog, search your custom location.
- Rename the Luminar Catalog folder. Choose any name you like.
Note that the albums you created in Luminar and edits you made will not be accessible in Luminar after you've renamed the catalog folder. They will still be saved on your hard drive should you need to access them in the future. Your photos on disk won't be affected in any way.
After that, you should be able to create a new catalog.
Please load your photos in parts so Luminar won't freeze. Don't add the whole drive.
Let us know how it goes.
